Well, the little fella decided to show up a few days earlier than expected.  I figured that he was making sure that he was fully ready for the trout season opener on March 3rd.

8lbs 10oz.  and 21 inches long

I wonder which stream he is dreaming about :)

Winter-Spring-Summer-Fall

THE ONLY THING MISSING FROM THE CHANGE OF SEASONS HERE IN WISCONSIN, IS BEING ABLE TO TROUT FISH IN ALL 4 OF THEM.  I REALLY HOPE THEY OPEN TROUT SEASON ALL YEAR ROUND, EVEN IF WE HAVE TO FOLLOW SPECIAL REGULATIONS.  THERE HAS GOT TO BE AWAY TO FISH WITHOUT HARMING THE TROUT DURING THERE SPAWNING SEASON.  EVEN IF IT WAS ONLY A MONTH OR TWO DURING THE WINTER MONTHS THAT WOULD MAKE ME HAPPY.
